About the event

Here's what we tackle in this workshop:

- REWRITING THE PAGE: Create written cues for actors.; emphasize motivation, emotional subtext and scene objective. Revise dialogue to meet pacing, genre and story needs.

- LEADING THE TABLE WORK: Analyze and break down the scene with your actors; uncover relationships, subtext, objectives and playable actions; establish an effective working relationship with your cast by being both prepared and open.

-VISUALIZING AND STAGING THE ACTION: Define the setting; look for organic blocking that exhibits logic and reveals character; understand the distinctions between behavioral, psychological and symbolic blocking.

-INTENSIFYING THE PERFORMANCES: Raise the stakes; upgrade the objectives; guide the actors towards full emotional commitment.
